Ah, yes. Star thisle has been taking over a few of my old time favorite places the past few years. It is bad for birds, and about everything else except insects and maybe masochistic chukar hunters.

I and two friends hunted with Gary and his good Friend, Dave this past fall and must say, the pictures don’t do it justice. I know I will be back to hunt with Gary again if I can help it! Just being able to navigate the terrain teaches you things about yourself that you otherwise would never know…
Thanks for a memorable trip!

Yes Saeed, photos never equate with proper magnitude or perspective, but as you say, negotiating terrain is a harsh teacher. Unfortunately, time has a way of revealing truths we find harder to accept as we age. But at least the fantastic views never lose their beauty and the experiences shared with folks of similarly diminished brains from chasing chukars is never to be forgotten. Thanks again for adding more stories and good times.
